FAQ : Windows 2000 New Connection

The following instructions will guide you through configuring your Windows 2000 computer for a new dialup connection.

Windows 2000

1. Click on the START button at the lower left hand corner of your screen and select the Control Panel. 2. Choose the Network and Dial-up Connections option. 3. Choose the Make New Connection option. 4. Click Next. 5. Choose Dial-up to the Internet and click Next. 6. Choose I want to setup my Internet connection manually and click Next. 7. Choose I connect through a phone line and a modem and click Next. 8. Enter 713-435-8004 into the Telephone number field and Click Next. 9. Enter your IPGN select UserName and Password into the appropriate fields as shown below. 10. Enter IPGN Dialup into the Connection Name field and click Next. 11. Select No and click Next. 12. Your new connection is now complete -- Click Finish in order to begin using your dialup connection.
