FAQ : Windows 95 New Connection

The following instructions will guide you through configuring your Windows 95 computer for a new dialup connection.

Windows 95

1. Double-click My Computer on your Desktop, then Double-Click Dial-Up Networking. 2. Choose the Make New Connection option. 3. Enter IP Global.Net into the name field and select your modem then click Next. 4. Enter 713-435-8004 into the Telephone number field and click Next. 5. Click Finish to complete the New Connection setup. 6. Right-Click the newly created connection and select Properties. 7. Choose the Server Types tab at the top of the menu 8. Deselect the IPX/SPX Compatible option 9. Verify your settings match the settings below and click OK
